My Approach
Taking the first step toward therapy isn't always easy. Whether you've been thinking about counseling for a while or life has simply become overwhelming, I'm so glad you're here. Starting therapy can bring up uncertainty, vulnerability, or fear, but you don't have to navigate it alone.
My goal is to create a warm, affirming space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. A place where you can show up exactly as you are, without worrying about being judged or feeling like you need to have everything figured out. I believe therapy isn't about fixing you; it's about helping you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Because every person's story is different, I take an individualized approach to therapy. Together, we'll find what works best for your unique needs, goals, and experiences.
My work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration, and I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. Rather than relying on one approach, I thoughtfully integrate these methods to best support your growth.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to carry it all on your own. I'm here to walk alongside you as you discover your resilience, develop new tools, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
I named my practice Bloom Counseling because growth isn't about becoming someone else, it's about becoming more fully yourself. Like any flower, growth takes time, patience, and the right environment. My hope is to provide that environment through warmth, compassion, encouragement, and hope.
It would truly be an honor to walk alongside you as you pursue healing, wellness, and a life where you can flourish.
Whenever you're ready, I'll be here to meet you exactly where you are.

About Me
I've always known I wanted a career where I could help people. Walking alongside others through life's challenges and getting to witness their growth and resilience is one of the greatest privileges of being a therapist.
I'm originally from Indiana and earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Indiana University before completing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Butler University. I've had the opportunity to work in community mental health, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and private practice, providing individual therapy to adolescents and adults. These experiences have deepened my belief that everyone deserves compassionate, individualized care.
When I'm not in the therapy room, you'll probably find me spending time with family and friends, enjoying nature, exercising, trying new recipes, or taking care of my ever-growing collection of houseplants. I believe in the importance of balance and finding joy in the little things.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and I'm honored to be part of that journey. My hope is that you'll feel welcomed, supported, and accepted from the moment we meet, and that together we can help you bloom.
